Traditional Medicine vs Homeopathic
In traditional / conventional medicine it is believed that symptoms represent illogical, improper, or unhealthy responses of the body, and that they should be treated, controlled, and suppressed. When actually symptoms should be considered positive, adaptive responses to the variety of stresses the body experiences. The body is trying to send a message while it is trying to heal itself. So when we think about it in a logical manner, should we try to interfere with the natural processes that have been put in place by a much higher intellectual being than we will find in any human doctor?
Homeopathy comes from two Greek words. “Homoios” meaning “similar” and “pathos” for “disease”. This principal is known as the “law of similar”. Simply put the principal states that any substance which can cause symptoms when given to a healthy person, can help to heal people who are experiencing similar symptoms.
This concept is used in Traditional medicine as well. With the immunization of patients small doses of agents that cause illness are given against the diseases. Others are radiation that causes cancer is given as a cancer treatment; Ritalin is given to hyperactive children; Gold although capable of causing joint pain is given to treat certain types of arthritis.
Although these and other medical treatments may resemble the primary principle of homeopathy, they do not obey the other essential principles of homeopathic medicine: using a minimum dose of the single medicine; the unique homeopathic pharmaceutical process; and the individualization of the drug to the person’s total physical and psychological characteristics.

I totally agree. When I was a nurse some years ago, we hindered the patient's progress more than we helped them get better by the crazy treatments. Great Post! Keep up the good work.
