What is your Cosmetic Exposure Quotient CEQ?

I found this information to be quite helpful in teaching my clients what is causing some of their symptoms.  So I thought I would share it here with you.

More and more information is available cautioning consumers to limit use of products containing chemicals linked to health concerns. Ingredients such as DEA, parabens, sulfates, petroleum, phthalates, propylene glycol, synthetic colours, and synthetic fragrances are commonly found in many personal body care porducts.

To calculate your personal CEQ, read the labels of the body care products you use and check off all the items that contain DEA, Parabens, sulfates, petroleum, phthalates, propyulene glycol, synthetic colours, and synthetic fragrances.

If you checked five or less, your CEQ is Low, 6 to 9 your CEQ is Moderate, and ten or more your CEQ is HIGH.  Know your exposure and minimize it so you can look good, feel great, and live the healthy life you were meant to live!
